Officials ID neighbors involved in Hackensack murder-suicide
An apparent dispute between neighbors ended in a murder-suicide in Hackensack Sunday, authorities said.
The incident involved two men who were in their 60s, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
The prosecutor’s office identified the men late Monday as James Bellamy and Arthur Hillman.
Bellamy was found dead in the lobby of a building, and Hillman was found dead inside a vehicle of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot, officials said.
A 911 call came in around 9:15 a.m. Sunday at a building located at 5 Linden St., the prosecutor’s office said.
Police said the two men knew each other, lived one floor apart and had an ongoing dispute. The prosecutor said that between the two men, about seven 911 calls were made about the dispute since January.
No other suspects are being sought and no one else was injured.
