ICE has obtained a criminal arrest warrant for a man who escaped a jail in Newark, according to ICE officials.

ICE has obtained a criminal arrest warrant for a man who escaped a jail in Newark, according to ICE officials.
Officials say ICE detainee, Luis Cordon-Guzman, 31, a Guatemalan national, escaped Friday from the Essex County Correctional Facility.
They say since March, Cordon-Guzman has been detained on felony charges out of Trenton.
ICE says Cordon-Guzman entered the country illegally.
Anyone who sees him or knows where his whereabouts is being asked to call police. The investigation into his whereabouts remains ongoing.
