8h agoAn East Brunswick apartment building was temporarily evacuated when a gas main was damaged.
The incident happened in the area of 2900 Commons near Kingswood Drive just before 11 a.m. Tuesday.
A contractor damaged the gas main. PSE&G crews came out to shut off the gas and make repairs.
PSE&G says that the East Brunswick Fire Department evacuated three apartments, with six residents.
Officials say that repairs were completed a little after 2 p.m.
