Officials: 2-year-old boy falls from second floor window in Newark

Newark police transported the toddler to University Hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition, authorities say.

A 2-year-old boy fell out of a second floor window Sunday night in Newark, according to city officials.
This happened at 7:26 p.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and South 6th Street.
According to officials, the child's mother carried him into the 4th Precinct station and reported the fall.
Newark police transported the toddler to University Hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition, authorities say.
Police are not currently releasing any additional information.
