Two people were killed and two others were injured when a house exploded in Buena, Atlantic County Thursday morning, according to officials. Two people are also unaccounted for.

A fire began around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the home on the 300 block of Northwest Boulevard in the Landisville section of town. A witness says that he heard an explosion and that the whole home shook.

Officials say that one of the people injured is a baby who is in critical condition.

The cause of the explosion was not immediately known.
