Officials say two people were shot, one of them fatally, in Jersey City Friday night.
It happened along Brinkerhoff Street just before midnight.
A woman was declared dead shortly after.
The other person's condition is unknown.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Homicide Unit and Jersey City police are investigating the case.
