Ocean County man uses home to store goods to ship to troops overseas
One man in Ocean County is making sure U.S. troops stationed overseas get some of the comforts of home.
Lloyd Mulliken stores up goods at his home so that they can be shipped to troops overseas.
Mulliken’s operation started small, but today, it takes up just about every room in his house, even two sheds out back.
He sends items such as toothpaste, candy, and deodorant to troops.
He doesn't get paid, but he does receive a number of cards and pictures back.
Our men and women in the military can't thank Mulliken enough, as he dedicates many hours each week to this.
