The struggle to remain open for business continues for the owners of a car wash in Toms River dealing with ongoing road construction.
As Route 166 construction continues just off Route 37, so does the frustration for Larry Schuster of Schuster’s Car Wash.
Crews continuing their work are nearly blocking any way for cars to make their way into the business.
The stop and go construction has been happening for three years now.
News 12 New Jersey visited Schuster back in May after the water utility accidentally disconnected the line to his business.
Although he's open now, the constant work is affecting his bottom line, to the point of closing down.
The construction company says it appreciates and understands Schuster’s concerns.
