New Jersey prepared itself Thursday for a winter blast.
Northern and western New Jersey was placed under a winter storm warning until midnight Friday. Central New Jersey was put under a winter storm watch.
Road travel is expected to be sloppy for commuters, and flights in and out of the state face possible delays and cancelations.
