(AP) - The Jersey shore has been getting somelarge waves and strong winds as the remnants of Hurricane Noel passby.
Weather forecasters say the storm should feel like a nor'easter.Some wind gusts may reach up to 45 mph.
Minor coastal flooding is possible too.
The Coast Guard says boaters should secure their boats at a safeharbor, and stay off the water.
The wind could whip up waves as high as 7 to 10 feet.
The storm isn't expected to make direct landfall in the U.S.
Noel is the deadliest storm of the 2007 Atlantic hurricaneseason, with at least 132 dead, mostly in Haiti and the DominicanRepublic.
