Monmouth County skaters received another win on Monday as Highlands announced additional funding to revamp a skate park.

The park will receive $200,000 for the park at the town’s recreation center.

The funds come from the county’s Open Space Grant Program.

Highlands was recently awarded nearly $600,000 in Green Acres funding for the program. It will use the new grant to offset costs to the borough.
