State police are asking for the public's help in locating two missing children from New Brunswick.
Police say 10-year-old Francisco Perera was last seen by his mother at their home on Somerset Street at around 6 p.m. last night. Perera is about 4 feet 10 inches, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue/white striped shorts and sandals without socks.
Police identified the second missing child as 11-year-old Devine Nicholas. He was reported missing by his mother last night. Devine was wearing black "Croc" shoes and usually has a Spiderman push scooter in his possession. The boy's mother says he has a medical condition that requires medication.
Authorities say the boys are friends and may be together.
Anyone who sees either child is asked to contact the NJSP Missing Persons Unit at 609-882-2000 x2554 or the New Brunswick Police Department at 732-745-5200.
