Christians in New Jersey and the rest of the world spent Easter Sunday celebrating the holiest day of the Christian calendar. It was a day filled with religious services and Easter traditions. Some families lined up at Alvaro's bakery in Newark to pick up their holiday desserts. Others made sure that tulips and lillies were part of the day.Clarence Wright, the assistant pastor at Newark's Zion Holy Church, stressed the day isn't about the outfits, bonnets or Peter Rabbit. He says the day is about having a relationship with God, and that it begins with the foundation of what happened on Easter Sunday.
