Property tax relief could be yours — but the deadline is fast approaching.
New Jersey residents who owned or rented a residence on Oct. 1, 2019, and meet income limits are eligible to get up to $1,500 from the state.
Homeowners with an income of $150,000 or less will receive $1,500, while homeowners with an income of more than $150,000 and up to $250,000 will receive $1,000.
Renters making $150,000 or less will receive $450.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 31, 2023.
