A couple from Monmouth County has claimed their $70 million Powerball jackpot.
Joseph and Celeste Tamburello, of Tinton Falls, showed up at New Jersey Lottery headquarters Monday in Trenton to get their $41.5 million lump sum payout for their cash value ticket.
They both plan to quit their jobs. Celeste is employed by a food service company. Joseph is a self-employed computer consultant. They say they'll use their winnings to travel the world together. Joseph told a room full of reporters, "The biggest thing I won before this was probably Atlantic City and I think I won $2,225 on a slot machine."
