NJ native Zach Braff films latest movie in his hometown

Actor, director and New Jersey native Zach Braff has come a long way since his first movie "Garden State" nearly 20 years ago. "A Good Person,” his fourth film, hit theaters on Friday.
Braff filmed his latest movie in Maplewood and in his hometown South Orange. The movie stars Morgan Freeman and Florence Pugh and delves into loss, addiction and a complicated friendship.
In a recent interview with NJ Monthly magazine, Braff talked about filming the movie and said, “I love my hometown and I want to tell stories about my hometown, of course I could have told the story anywhere, but I wouldn't have related to it.”

Anne Hathaway stars in new movie

Millburn native Anne Hathaway will play a fictional pop star in the move “Mother Mary.” The studio making the movie is A24, the Oscar-winning studio behind "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" that won this year's Oscar for best film.

Original Misfits announce summer tour

Tickets are now on sale to see the Original Misfits at the Prudential Center on Saturday, July 8. The punk rock band is originally from Lodi and is going on a limited three show run this summer.

Eat Clean Bro Gala in Monmouth County sells out

“Jersey Shore” star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his wife Lauren, along with Danielle and Nate Cabral from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," are among the celebrities who will be mingling with anyone holding a hot ticket for Friday’s second annual Eat Clean Bro Gala in Monmouth County.
