(AP) - A lawyer for a New Jersey man who askedBrazil's government to grant him custody of his 8-year-old son saysthe federal court there has ordered the boy returned to him.
Attorney Patricia Apy represents Tinton Falls residentDavid Goldman. She says she was notified of the decision Mondayafternoon.
She says the ruling calls for the boy to be turned over to hisfather on Wednesday.
The boy's Brazilian mother took him to Brazil in 2004 and neverreturned to the United States. She divorced his American father andremarried. She died last year.
Eight-year-old Sean Goldman was being raised by his stepfather.
