NJ high school reinstates mask mandate for 10 days following rise in new COVID-19 cases

Montclair High School is having its students mask up again in an effort to stop the spread following reports Tuesday of 13 new COVID-19 cases among students, staff and faculty.

Montclair High School is having its students mask up again in an effort to stop the spread following reports Tuesday of 13 new COVID-19 cases among students, staff and faculty.
STATE OF OUR SCHOOLS: Back-to-school resources
The school district reinstated the mask mandate at the high school for 10 days. According to Essex County, there are 11 new COVID-19 cases today in Montclair.
The Montclair School District COVID-19 dashboard shows in the past seven days, there have been 37 confirmed student cases and three staff cases.
SEARCH FOR A CURE: Statistics and State Resources
The statewide school and day care mask mandate was lifted on March 7. 
Across the school district, there are over 600 new cases. The mask mandate will be lifted on May 13.
