Though New Jersey has some of the lowest priced gas compared to the national average, prices have gone up 30 cents in the past month.
Refining and transportation problems in the Midwest and on the West Coast have been blamed for the increase, as well as tropical weather systems.
The average price in New Jersey for a gallon of regular gas is $3.65, according to newjerseygasprices.com. One month ago, the average was $3.30.
Currently, Old Bridge has the lowest gas prices in the state with $3.35.
