The faltering economy is now affecting New Jersey flea markets, according to a number of vendors in Dover.
With less money to spend, they say, fewer people come to the flea markets, and those who do stop by are shopping less.
"This has probably been one of the toughest years as far as business," Bill Sala, a vendor in Dover, says.
In addition to customers saving their money, high gas prices also contribute to fewer shoppers.
