New Jersey's Catholic leaders have joined the outcry over the Obama administration's mandate concerning insurance coverage for contraception.
The federal government is requiring most health plans to pay for contraception services, including faith-based employers which may not agree with the use of contraception.
Bishop David O'Connell, of the Trenton Diocese, is one of New Jersey's Catholic leaders taking to the web against the mandate.
The policy takes effect in August. Religious groups have an extra year to implement it.
There is speculation that the president could bow to pressure and allow a religious exemption.
