News 12 New Jersey anchor Syma Chowdhry was the keynote speaker at the Women’s Leadership Summit in Edison.

Chowdhry spoke about her journey as a first-generation American, mother and Emmy Award-winning anchor.

"It's easier to put your guard down, and then someone else can see that and they put their guard down, and you never know how we can help each other even in the simplest, most casual conversations,” Chowdhry said.
