The last defendant in the 2007 Newark schoolyard slayings has been moved to Essex County Jail after turning 20 over the weekend.
Geraldo Gomez, who was 15 at the time of the murders, aged out of the County Youth Detention Center and had to be moved.
Gomez and five co-defendants were charged in connection with the execution-style killings of Dashon Harvey, Iofemi Hightower and Terrance "T.J." Aeriel on a playground behind Newark's Mount Vernon School.
He pleaded not guilty.
