Newark police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a carjacking incident that occurred on Thanksgiving.
According to authorities, the suspect, armed with a gun, approached the driver along Sylvan Avenue and demanded that they exit their vehicle.
A second individual accompanied the gunman and entered the car with him.
Police have released a photo of the suspect, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Newark Police Department at (973) 733-6000.
