Police: Multi-car crash injures 2 in Marlboro
3ds agoNewark police were involved in a shootout with a murder suspect Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of 4th Avenue and North 9th Avenue.
Officers were already in the area when they heard gunfire, and as they attempted to make an arrest, shots were exchanged between the suspect and law enforcement.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the shootout.
However, a victim from the earlier shooting was found dead at the scene.
The authorities have not released the victim's name.
