A shooting has left Newark police looking for two suspects who fled the scene after a gunman targeted an e-bike rider on South 10th Street.

At approximately 12:55 p.m Police responded to the 700 block of South 10th Street near Madison Avenue on a call of a shooting. Responding officers observed evidence of a shooting at the location, but did not locate a victim.

As part of the investigation, detectives determined that a Black male wearing a white tank top, who was walking southbound on Clinton Avenue, pointed and discharged a firearm at a man who was riding an e-bike in the area.

The female suspect was with the male suspect when a quarrel occurred between two males, and the firearm was discharged. She is described as having a light complexion with brown hair and blonde highlights. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with white lettering on the front left leg, and white sneakers.
