Newark Liberty Airport gets back on track after storm headaches
The holiday travel rush is well underway and Newark Liberty International Airport is getting back on track after Friday’s wet weather.
There were about 22 delays and six cancellations Saturday morning, but as of 11:30 a.m. just about every flight was leaving on time. There's only a handful or flights delayed now and just one flight has been canceled.
It was a different story for airline passengers on Friday as the wet and windy weather caused many cancellation and delays.
TSA expects some 70,000 people to travel through Newark Liberty during this holiday week.
Travelers are asked to check with their airlines before leaving home for any possible delays or cancellations.
