Passengers at Newark International Liberty Airport were undaunted about boarding flights, yet still disconcerted in light of Thursday?s tragic crash of a plane that departed from Newark.
"It doesn't intimidate me at all to fly,? said Mike Moore, one of those awaiting departure. ?Statistically, it's still the safest way to travel and if I need to get up here quickly I'm going to jump on a plane."
There were some cancellations and delays in the hours following the crash. Ticked off customers still acknowledged the gravity of the situation.
?We?re all aggravated and we?re waiting in line, but obviously it was a horrible tragedy,? said Robin Reis, one of those scheduled for a canceled flight.
