New Milford High School students organized a donation drive for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico.
The students gathered diapers, water, canned goods and even dog food. It was all organized by the school’s athletic department.
"I'm extremely proud. I think it shows our dedication, our hard work,” says faculty member Theresa Pizzo. “The efforts by the athletes have really shined and we're super proud of all the work that they've done."
The donations were brought to the Bergen County Courthouse Wednesday morning and will eventually make their way to Puerto Rico.
