the Darren Drake Act to pass in the Senate.
Darren was killed in the 2017 West Side Highway terrorist
truck attack.
Rep.
Josh Gottheimer joined the parents of Darren Drake to push for the bill.
The bill would strengthen information collected
by car dealers and rental companies to deter lone-wolf terrorists from
committing similar attacks.
"When that perpetrator killed my son, our
son, and seven others, he wasn't looking for Black, white, male,
female, straight, gay. He was looking for Americans," says Drake’s father, Jimmy.
The bill would also strengthen suspicious activity reporting.
