316ds agoWhile Team USA goes for the gold at the Beijing Olympics, New Jersey athletes are competing in their own winter games via the Special Olympics at Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon Township.
Monday was the first day of the event, with a lineup of skiing events. The 120 athletes competed on Monday and will again on Tuesday.
This year marks the 54th anniversary of the Special Olympics.
