New Jerseyans really love their dogs, according to a new study.

Forbes Advisor conducted a survey of 10,000 dog owners, with 200 surveyed in each state, to analyze which states have the most conscientious pet parents. The Garden State ranked at No. 9 with states having the most responsible dog owners.

According to the study, 91% of pet parents report their dog is up to date with vaccinations, 63% say they trim their dog's nails at least once a month and 39% say they brush their dog's teeth at least once a week.
