New Jersey law enforcement will be front and center at holiday celebrations after the deadly Hanukkah shooting in Australia.
Added patrols outside places like Temple Emanu-El in Westfield aren't just for security, but also for congregants' peace of mind after the tragic events at Bondi Beach.
"These are people who seek not just to do the Jewish community harm, but to do America harm," said Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-5). "These are terrorists and we're not gonna let terror win and overcome freedom and democracy. It's not gonna happen."
Although there is no specific threat to any New Jersey locations, local law enforcement increased patrols outside synagogues and temples throughout the state for the foreseeable future.
