Some of New Jersey’s most talented musicians are lending their voices to a COVID-19 relief effort.
Singer Constantine Maroulis of Wyckoff is among the artists who will be performing virtually on Sunday in a benefit for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.
“So many people in need right now, so many incredible heroes on the front line putting their lives at risk,” he says.
The concert, called “Hip New Jersey Stays Home” is produced by the lifestyle and entertainment outlet Hip New Jersey. It will air May 31 at 8 p.m. on News 12+.
“Everything is raw, real, in someone’s living room. And that is what you’re going to get through this special,” says Hip New Jersey’s Lisa Marie Latino. “You’re going to get the full effect of what everyone is going through right now.”
The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund provides aid to help ease the medical, social and economic impact of the virus in the Garden State.
Maroulis, a Tony Award nominee, will be debuting a song from his upcoming album on the special. He says that he has enlisted many of his friends to perform at the benefit.
Among the artists is Bon Jovi’s David Bryan and the Nerds.
