? Among the 38,000 runners participating in Sunday?s New York City Marathon will be five women from New Jersey, known as the New Jersey Marathon Moms.

Gretchen Cibidini, Lisa Giordano, Lori Brown, Kim Paulsen and Kathy Hlboki say they are resuming their marathon aspirations after taking time off to raise their children and pursue careers.

Two of the five moms have participated in marathons before, but the other three are running their first 26-mile race ever. They say they formed the running sisterhood as a way to stay motivated and decrease anxiety.
