New Jersey minimum wage set to increase to $12 per hour for most employees Jan. 1

The state Department of Labor and Workforce Development has announced New Jersey's minimum hourly wage is set to increase by $1 to $12 per hour, for most employees, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

The state Department of Labor and Workforce Development has announced New Jersey's minimum hourly wage is set to increase by $1 to $12 per hour, for most employees, effective Jan. 1, 2021.
The minimum hourly wage for workers at a small employer, or those doing seasonal work, will also increase to $11.10.
People who work on a farm or for an hourly piece-rate wage will now be paid $10.44.
