A New Jersey teen and cancer survivor has been invited to the White House for a second time.
Grace Eline, 14, is passionate about pediatric cancer research and those impacted by cancer.
When Eline was just 9 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. While fighting her own battle, Eline raised over $40,000 for children with cancer. Former first lady Melania Trump invited Eline to the 2019 State of the Union Address because of her efforts.
“To be invited once, I mean I’m so grateful for it. But it’s such an amazing experience because I’m going to be able to meet a lot more people with awesome stories also who are like me who are survivors,” Eline says.
This time around Eline will be speaking at the White House with lawmakers on a federal level about President Joe Biden’s Cancer Moonshot Initiative, a national effort to bring together health care providers, researchers, patients, caregivers and advocates together in the fight against cancer.
