New video is giving a closer look at the moment an officer was hit by a car during a traffic stop in Williamsburg.

It happened Saturday night near Wallabout Street and Broadway.

The video shows officers stepping out of their vehicle after pulling over a white Infiniti. Within seconds, the driver suddenly reverses — backing into another vehicle and knocking an officer to the ground.

The car then takes off down Wallabout Street.

Officials say the car also hit two police vehicles during the chaos. The vehicle was described as a white Infiniti with Montana plates.

The officer hurt his leg and was taken to the hospital. He has since been released.

Police have also released video of a person they are trying to identify in connection to the incident. That video shows the person walking on a sidewalk, last seen wearing all black.

Anyone who recognizes the person is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
