Emergency personnel rushed to the desolate are near 5051 Flatbush Ave. just after 6 p.m. Wednesday after receiving the call about people trapped inside a car that crashed into a building.

Fire officials say crews rescued the victims from inside the car before EMS took them to nearby hospitals.

The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

The building suffered "significant structural damage" that has been "mitigated," the FDNY says.

A spokesperson for the Department of Buildings says members of the department were not called to the scene.
