News 12 was in Hunterdon County checking in on the storm preps.
A large, uprooted tree has been cleared up from County Road 627 which runs right along the Delaware River in Milford. There are already some tees and wires down in Milford and Holland Township.
The Hunterdon County Office of Emergency Management says it is prepared, equipped and ready.
"Our office is prepared to respond to a multitude of hazards," said Brayden Fahey, director of Hunterdon County OEM. "We're equipped, and we're trained and we're prepared to respond whatever the situation is."
He says resources were already deployed for any water rescues.
"We're partnered with all our swift water agencies to ensure that they're equipped and ready, prepared to respond, should any flooding redevelop and should any rescues be needed," said Fahey.
Every 911 call from Hunterdon County goes right into one room.
"They are trained to really take control of the call, so if you do call 911 let them set the tone, follow their questions, answer what is asked of you," said Fahey. "They are here to help, they are trained and prepared to manage the call."
