The New Jersey's Attorney
General’s Office is probing a deadly police-involved shooting in Bayonne.
Officers say they were called
to a home on West 1st Street, for a domestic disturbance.
Officers inside found Lee Waskiewicz,
47, at the top of the stairs, who then disappeared from sight.
Officers say he threatened to stab them and
returned with a knife.
Waskiewicz is then seen
coming down the stairs at the officers. Police opened fire. Waskiewicz died on
June 7.
The Attorney General is reviewing whether officers were justified in
their use of force.
