A Belmar COVID-19 memorial honoring those who have died from the disease is finally getting a permanent home.
The memorial started by Rima Samman who wanted to honor her brother, Rami, who died from coronavirus last May and it quickly turned into a memorial honoring hundreds of thousands of lives lost.
The memorial is moving to Allaire Community Farm in Wall Township.
Samman and other advocates went to Washington, D.C. Sunday to lobby for a day to recognize the lives lost to COVID-19.
