A brand-new Chick-Fil-A location opening today in Linden is saying thank you to those on the front lines, and will be surprising 100 local heroes with free food for a year.

A brand-new Chick-Fil-A location opening today in Linden is saying thank you to those on the front lines, and will be surprising 100 local heroes with free food for a year.
It comes in place of the usual tradition of giving the first 100 customers free food for a year.
The restaurant will also donate $25,000 to Feeding America, which will help in the fight against hunger in the greater Linden area.
The restaurant will bring around 120 full- and part-time jobs to the community.
The restaurant, located at 900 W. Edgar Road, will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
