Newark police have released the names of the victims in a shooting that killed two people on Saturday.

Jordan Garcia, 10, and Kiyah Mae Scott, 21, were shot near Chancelor Avenue and Leslie Street around 7 p.m. They were pronounced dead at University Hospital.

An 11-year-old boy, the brother of Jordan Garcia, remains in stable condition. His name is being withheld because he is a minor. Masi Rogers, 19, is in critical condition, and Sheppard Miller, 60, is in stable condition.

Newark Public Schools announced grief counseling will be available for students and staff.

"We mourn the loss of one of our students and the woman who was killed, and we continue to pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, which includes another one of our students," said Roger León, superintendent.

The Essex County Sheriff's office is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
