A Montclair middle school will be renamed in honor of legendary Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
Mount Hebron Middle School will be changing its name next year in honor of Aldrin, who was the second man to walk on the moon.
Aldrin was honored Tuesday at a breakfast at the Upper Montclair Country Club. He then returned to Mount Hebron, the school where he says he became interested in science.
"The education that I received here, in Montclair, is the fundamental that I built on," Aldrin says.
Aldrin also says that he further developed his love of science at Montclair High School. He graduated from the school in 1947.
