It's been nearly four years since Anthony Holmes Jr. was shot and killed on an Elizabeth street and his mother says the alleged killer is still free and walking the streets in Egypt.
At the time of the shooting in 2012, the Union County Prosecutor issued a warrant for Eslam Gad who was believed to be the shooter.
The prosecutor said Gad fled to Egypt and was never taken into custody.
"It's horrible, it's pulling your heart," said Phoebe Holmes, the victim's mother. "It's devestating. We have reached out to all our local councilmen, the Senate. We haven't gotten anywhere."
Mistaken identiy may have been the reason Anthony was shot.
