A winter blast hit the region again Tuesday, continuing New Jersey's 'polar' coaster ride of high and low temperatures.
Parts of New Jersey had as much as 5.2 inches, the accumulation in both Edison and North Brunswick. By Tuesday evening, scattered showers were tapering off.
The region is expected to warm up again in the next few days.
