Mosquito season is lasting a
little bit longer this year, and experts say the extended seasons are a problem New Jersey
residents are going to have to deal with.
Experts say they're a result
of the general warming of the climate.
Mosquitoes that usually stay
further south are now moving into the northeast.
Recent rainfall events that
hit the state are also causing them to remain in New Jersey.
The state is home to over 60 different species of mosquitoes.
