A Morris County toy inventor says he is on a mission to inspire creativity.
Rockaway resident Steve Beckman says his latest invention is the building block of learning. Beckman invested his life savings to create toys he claims inspire children to create. His invention is called Cardivity, which are specially designed cards, that allow children and adults to create whatever they want.
Beckman plans to bring his invention to the International Toy Fair in New York. There he will be up against the world?s top toy makers. Beckman hopes Cardivity, which requires no batteries, no wires and no tape, will attract the top toy companies. Beckman adds Toys R Us has already expressed interest in Cardivity.
