More than a million people in New Jersey have already cast their ballots for the 2020 election.
The number of votes is already 30% of the turnout for the 2016 election.
New Jersey could see record levels of voting during its first mostly mail-in ballot election, which was pushed through by Gov. Phil Murphy's executive order.
Early voting also seems to be a trend for other states in the country as more than 22 million people have already reportedly voted.
According to data company Catalyst, Democrats are voting earlier at higher levels then Republicans.
Absentee ballot requests have also increased throughout the nation due to the pandemic.
Experts say there is no recorded history of voting during a pandemic and early voting cannot predict who people are voting for.
